JOB DETAILS

Ride Operator: Under general supervision, the Ride Operator is responsible for the proper operation of amusement rides and attractions including assisting guests in loading and unloading of ride and restraining systems, operating the ride using control panels, communicating safety instructions, and observing the ride while in motion in accordance with Lagoon’s Policies and Procedures. The Ride Operator will also be enforcing all park policies and safety guidelines in accordance with Lagoon’s Policies and Procedures.

Food and Beverage Personnel: Under general supervision, the Food Service Employee is responsible for performing a variety of duties while properly operating Lagoon’s food concession stands in accordance to Lagoon’s policies and procedures.  Food Service Employee prepare and serve food to Lagoon’s guests and follow proper sanitation procedures to keep a clean and orderly work area.  Food Service Employee must be willing to work in the Group Food Service area during peak catering times.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills:

• During training periods, the Ride Operator must be able to read and assimilate information provided in the Ride Division Manual and the Seasonal Employee Handbook, and comprehend verbal instructions from the training Area Supervisor.
• During training periods, the Food and Beverage Employee must be able to read and assimilate information provided in the Food Division's Manual and the Seasonal Employee Handbook, and comprehend verbal instructions from the training Food Area Supervisor.

Supplies:

• Lagoon will supply a uniform shirt. Employee will be responsible for supplying their own uniform pants/shorts and shoes. You may wear shorts or pans. Pants must be tan or light brown in color. Shoes must be closed toe, a solid color & comfortable.
• Lagoon will supply each food and beverage employee with a uniform shirt, apron and hat. Employee will be responsible for supplying their own uniform pants and shoes. Food and Beverage Employees MUST WEAR PANTS. Shorts are NOT permitted. 

HOUSING

Provided by company for 80 USD/week. Lagoon Housing

All housing is "Apartment Style" housing with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Lagoon will provide each apartment with a bed mattress pillow and sheets. All other apartment furnishing will be the participant's responsibility upon arrival. Each apartment will have (4) four persons per apartment and (1) one person per bedroom. Each participant will be required to sign a LAGOON HOUSING AGREEMENT upon arrival. 

JOB DETAILS

Grounds Maintenance Attendant: 

•   Trimming greens, aprons, around trees, fence lines, edges cart paths.  
•   Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves. 
•   Rakes and bags leaves. 
•   Cleans grounds and removes litter.  
•   Repair fences, gates, walls, and walkways.
•   Replacing light bulb, etc.

Pool Attendant: Pool Attendants will be asked to perform tasks such as checking guest identification, cleaning and straightening the pool area, providing for safety of all pool guests, monitoring adherence to safety guidelines of the pool area.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills: Employees must appreciate hard work; enjoy working with and for others; take pride in a job well done; and be committed to providing first-class service to guests. The work is highly customer oriented. Employees must be willing to do various cleaning jobs

Supplies: Employees must report to work in clean, neat, authorized uniforms when required by their position. -Dress Code- Uniforms are provided. Bring your own closed toe shoes.

JOB DETAILS

Housekeepers responsibility is to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for our guests. Our hotel has single rooms, and suites, that require housekeeping duties. Housekeepers may be asked to help in our laundry department that will require the cleaning (washing and drying) of all hotel linens, replenish supplies and stock of linen through housekeeping closets throughout the hotel.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills: Applicants must be trustworthy, friendly, and have a positive attitude! Employees have direct contact with the public and must have good people skills and be able to communicate in a fast-paced work environment. Teamwork and professionalism are needed.

Supplies: You may buy other uniform pieces at cost.

JOB DETAILS

You will be working in several roles within Gott's Store: Deli Clerk, Kitchen Worker, and possibly Ice Cream Counter Attendant and Cashier. All roles require excellent customer service skills. As a Deli Clerk, you will be taking customer orders in-person and over the phone and handing customers pre-made meals for take-out. In the restaurant side, you will be prepping meals, including pizzas, cleaning, and washing dishes. If you have strong English skills and are familiar with American currency, you may also have the chance to run the cash register and handle customer transactions. You may also work at the ice cream counter, helping customers. 

REQUIREMENTS

Skills: Superior customer service skills are a must. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills will be needed. You must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. This position requires being able to work in a very fast paced environment

HOUSING

Employee housing consists of a 3 bedroom house with kitchen, common room, bathroom, and on site laundry. 
The house is located just across the parking lot from Gott's Store.

JOB DETAILS

Work in Dells Resorts restaurant at Hot Rocks. You may work as busser, server, etc. This is a physical job. You must be able to do the following:

• The ability to stand for long hours at a time
• The ability to kneel, crouch, lift and bend.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate 

REQUIREMENTS

Skills: These jobs require employees who are hard-working, able to lift bags of garbage, and move furniture to clean under it, and use cleaning supplies.

• Dip, shape, and salt pretzels.
• Insert, rotate and remove pretzel trays; monitor ovens for correct baking time and product color.
• Dip, drain, and file pretzels in Roundup.
